Creating a preferred future

Our biggest focus for 2012 is investigating the possibilities of improved education in the area. We are passionate about education and the opportunity it presents for children and families to overcome poverty.

There are many obstacles on the horizon but we are up for the challenge. As Winston Churchill said, “Difficulties mastered are opportunities WON.” Winning is what we are about and there is no stopping us if it means we can build positively into society and change lives through the opportunity of a great education.

In a community where unemployment is rife, HIV & Aids prevalence is much higher than the national average, and where children are particularly vulnerable, only access to a good, holistic education provides a real solution. If we choose not to act now, we will still be treating the symptoms of poverty in the future. We want to see the future of a community moulded through the power of knowledge. This is creating a preferred future.
